It's been sad around here lately. We lost Callie on Aug 12th. This has been very hard for me to go through. I miss her so much. I found puppy pictures of her last night. She was 8 weeks old in the photos. I'm glad I was her momma. She was a crazy girl. Not perfect, but she was my girl. I miss her.

Happy Birthday Callie!

Today, Aug 6th, my Callie Girl turns 9!

I am so glad she made it to her 9th birthday.

You see, Callie was diagnosed with adrenal cancer on July 7th. The internal medicine vet said she could live 2 weeks or even 6 months, he was unsure. The cancer has progressed too far for surgery, so he said it would be best for her to live out her days at home. This has been a very hard time for me knowing my baby is sick. She is doing ok. She has good days and bad days. As long as she knows she is loved.

So, A BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, my sweet Callie Girl!!!!
