We're Here!

We made it to WV Friday, Aug something or other. I can't remember the day. I know it was the first Friday in Aug. We are getting settled, but also the day Chris leaves is glooming over our heads. I hate to say goodbye, and I hope the year goes fast for both of us. Our trip went fairly well. We had some trouble with the uhaul in St Louis, but other than that it went well. All the animals did great. Booger, the hamster died a few days ago. How sad. He had a big tumor thing on his neck, so I don't think it was due to the move. Poor thing. He was about 4 years old. I read that hamsters usually only live about 2 years, so he had a good long life. As you know, we have 2 dogs, big dogs, and MIL has 2 dogs, but they are small dogs. Well, lets just say it's been an experience getting them all to get along. I hope it isn't much longer until they start behaving and stop bickering. Silly dogs. They all want to be the alpha and that just can't happen. Except poor Callie, she just wants to play and be happy. Hmm, maybe dogs *are* like their owners, lol. Pepper is aggressive - Chris has anger management issues.... Callie is like me, happy go lucky and wants everyone to get along. Ok, said enough for tonight.
